MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive or PCBA background and similar position
- Good understanding and practical experience on the IPC Standard regarding printed circuits, printed circuit assemblies, process and inspections/tests
- Certified IPC A610 and IPC 7711/ 7721 will be valuable
- Experience in electrical hardware and software development and good knowledge of electrical and electromechanical materials and components
- Good knowledge of PC board development and familiar with data acquisition equipment and circuit simulation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooter and problem solver
- Team-oriented, flexible, with high organizational skills and a structured method of operation as well as self-dependent with an ability to work well under pressure and given deadlines
- Independent, motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ensure daily tasks are performed alignment with OHS&E practices and applicable standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and Automotive Quality Management System (IATF 16949)
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating engineering projects and engineering changes from the administrative and technical side, incl. associate budgets.
- Review and develop new products as well as improve existing products.
- Review, analysis and evaluate of electrical circuits.
- Reviews Customer’s specifications and requirements and applies them in the designs and procurement documentation as required.
- Contact customers and suppliers, coordinate and resolve relevant issues
- Supports operations and quality on manufacturing, Customer and Supplier issues. Assists in the Supplier selection.
- Preparation of process validation test plans as required.
- Assist in the root cause analysis and investigation of quality problems
- Manages and develop the supplier quality activities from design through program launch.
- In conjunction with engineering and manufacturing personnel, works to resolve problems related to product designs, specifications, materials, tooling, and production operations affecting quality.
- Reviews all specifications to assure all supplier information is current and all new inspection and testing is incorporated or revised.
- Assumes supplier PPAP requirements are completed as per customer requirements.
- Ensures establishment of quality system and compliance with appropriate procedures in layout, testing receiving inspection, and other quality control related areas.
- Regularly audits suppliers to ensure conformance with product specifications and standards.
- Works closely with suppliers to develop, implement, and execute productivity and cost savings improvements.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
