Overview

As a QAQC Engineer
, you will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP construction works are executed in accordance with approved quality standards, technical specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements, and are ready for testing, commissioning, and final project handover.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage the Quality Plan / Project Quality Plan (PQP).
  • Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documentation, including:
    • Method Statements
  • Ensure compliance of all works with:
    • Project specifications
    • Contract requirements and approved drawings
  • Coordinate with PMC, consultants, and clients for quality approvals and inspection activities.
  • Conduct inspections before, during, and after installation works to ensure quality compliance.
  • Witness and document key inspections and tests, including:
    • Pressure testing
    • Flushing and cleaning
    • Insulation inspection
    • Electrical testing (IR test, continuity, torque)
  • Ensure all works are executed in accordance with:
    • Approved drawings
    • Method Statements and ITP requirements
  • Identify Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate punch list management and closure with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure systems are Foreign Object Debris (FOD)-free prior to Testing & Commissioning (T&C).
  • Witness Testing & Commissioning activities, including:
    • Functional testing
    • Integrated System Test (IST)
  • Verify test results against acceptance criteria and project requirements.
