Electrical Engineer

• Electrical System Management: Assist in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution units, UPS, generators, and switch gear. Ensure efficient operation with minimal downtime and adherence to performance standards. Support the implementation and maintenance of electrical safety policies and best practices.
• Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities, coordinate with vendors and contractors during maintenance and upgrade projects, monitor system performance, and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide hands‑on technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly, collaborate with engineering and operations teams, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation and records.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, participate in safety audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of safety protocols within the data center.
• Strategic Initiatives: Support the Electrical Engineering Manager and Critical Services Manager in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance electrical system performance and support business growth.

  Work closely with engineers, technicians, and the Electrical Engineering Manager to ensure seamless 24/7 operations, and participate in training and development programs.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and switch gear, with the ability to resolve complex electrical challenges.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Finnish is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with high integrity and a collaborative working style.
