Job Summary
Experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with hands‑on expertise in maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting floating dock equipment, including cranes, generators, pumps, motors, winches, actuators, and electrical systems. Skilled in preventive maintenance, equipment testing & commissioning, automation troubleshooting, spare parts management, and supporting dock repair activities while ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards. Demonstrated ability to coordinate with subcontractors and vessel crews, monitor project progress, and contribute to operational efficiency and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all HSE and quality aspects are complied.
- Assist and solve site issues related to department.
- Maintenance of equipment at floating dock (crane, actuator, generator, pump, motor, winch, lamp).
- Service equipment as per schedule (crane, actuator, generator, pump, motor, winch, lamp).
- Assist automation troubleshooting equipment (crane, actuator, generator, pump, motor, winch, lamp).
- Prepare stock items of floating dock parts.
- Assist subcontractor while repair process, testing and commissioning equipment.
- Document preventive maintenance of floating dock.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective measures to increase effectiveness.
- Assist and monitor progress of replating deck, side wall at floating dock.
- Assist and communicate with crew vessel to connect shore power from dock to vessel.
- Other assignments as directed by superior or assigned by the company.
- Follow safety rules and regulations according to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.
Preferred Experience
- Completed primary education with more than 10 years of relevant experience for mechatronic control.
- Initiative, self‑motivation and willingness to accept additional workload.
- Able to speak and write simple English.
- Young, strong and good behavior.
- Knowledge in electronic instruments, power electronics, mechanical control & mechanical.
- Understanding how to use multimeter or special tool for troubleshooting.
- Understanding of the principles of mechanical basics or advanced.
- Candidate must process at leak S1.
- Able to speak English to maintenance communication with client.
- Effectively communicate technical solution.
Bachelors in Marine Engineering or Electronics.
Associates in Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
