Safety Officer

Ensure all on-site work activities are carried out in compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards and applicable regulations.

Conduct safety induction programs for employees, visitors, and subcontractors entering the project site.

Lead daily toolbox meetings before work activities commence.

Perform routine inspections of work areas, tools and equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), scaffolding, lifting equipment, and project facilities.

Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments for all work activities (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).

Ensure all personnel use the appropriate PPE according to the nature of their work.

Monitor and supervise high-risk activities, including work at height, hot work, lifting operations, excavation, and confined space entry.

Ensure the implementation of the Permit to Work (PTW) system in accordance with company procedures.

Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare investigation reports along with corrective and preventive action recommendations.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Health & Safety reports on project activities.

Coordinate with the Site Manager, Supervisors, and project teams to promote and maintain a strong safety culture.

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, and the company's Health & Safety policies.

Minimum Diploma (D3) or bachelor's degree (S1) in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3), Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience as an HSE Officer or Safety Officer in manufacture company.

Possess a valid General Occupational Safety Expert (AK3 Umum) Certificate issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (
mandatory
).

Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3), HIRADC/JSA, Permit to Work (PTW), and workplace accident investigation.

Familiar with construction activities such as scaffolding, lifting operations, work at height, hot work, excavation, and confined space entry.

Proficient in preparing HSE reports and using Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication in English skill, leadership, assertiveness, and problem-solving skills.
