Mechanical Engineering

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience and technical understanding in propulsion and subsea to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design development, modelling and mechanical drawing creation, and engineering analysis to support propulsion and subsea system requirements.

• Create design and development of mechanical components/systems for propulsion and subsea applications
• Create 3D modelling and 2D mechanical drawing according to engineering standards
• Conduct analysis and evaluation of design based on technical requirements
• Ensure design considers tolerance, fit & clearance, material, and manufacturability
• Conduct simulation/analysis using relevant engineering software
• Read, understand, and interpret mechanical drawing
• Coordinate with engineering, production, fabrication, and project teams
• Implement design improvements based on analysis results, testing, and project requirements

• Minimum S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Works design software
• Understanding of fundamental mechanics and basic engineering principles
• Understanding of mechanical drawing logic and standards
• Able to create 3D modelling and 2D mechanical drawing
• Understanding of mechanical tolerance, fit, clearance, and their application in design
• Proficient in ANSYS analysis software, particularly CFD and FEA/FEM
• Ability to read and understand technical drawing and engineering specification
• Good problem solving and technical analysis capability
• Experience in subsea and/or propulsion industry is an advantage
