Marine Surveyor

PT Nusantara Ship Inspection (NSI) is looking for an experienced and motivated Marine Surveyor to join our growing team.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Naval Architecture, or a related field or Seafarer Licence

Previous experience in marine surveying, ship inspection is preferred.

Good knowledge of marine engineering; vessel operations and International vessel certification.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Previous exposure to International foreign-flagged vessels

Able to communicate professionally in English with vessel crews, clients, agents, and other stakeholders.

Able to prepare clear, accurate, and professional survey reports in English.

Strong technical writing and reporting skills.

Able to work independently.

Willing to travel and attend vessels at various ports, anchorages, and shipyards at very short notice.

Seafaring Certification;
Marine Surveyor Diploma; ISM Auditor; DPA Certification are all preferred

Good attention to detail, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct marine surveys and vessel inspections.

Attend vessels at ports, anchorages, and shipyards as required.

Prepare detailed and professional survey reports in English
.

Communicate and coordinate with vessel crew, clients, agents, and relevant parties.

Provide clear technical findings, observations, and recommendations.

Ensure survey activities are conducted in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements.
