* Lead and manage a team of shift technicians, ensuring they perform their duties effectively.
* Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.## Operational Oversight:
* Ensure all data centre operations are running smoothly and efficiently during the shift.
* Monitor critical services and building systems to identify and address potential issues promptly.
* Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.## Shift Handover Management:
* Prepare detailed shift handover reports, documenting all relevant information, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.
* Ensure shift handover reports are completed and communicated effectively before the end of each shift.
* Conduct shift handover meetings to brief the incoming shift on the current status and any ongoing issues.## Compliance and Safety:
* Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for the shift team.
* Report and document any safety incidents or near-misses promptly.## Technical Support:
* Provide technical assistance and support to the shift team as needed.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the shift.
* Coordinate with the technical support team for complex problem resolution.
** Continuous Improvement:
*** Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
* Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the shift team.
* Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.##
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field]- Minimum [2] years of experience in data centre operations or a similar role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Technical proficiency in data centre systems and operations.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards.
