Field Translator

We are looking for a Workshop Translator & Operations Coordinator who does much more than translation. This role combines Indonesian–Chinese language proficiency with workshop management experience
: you will translate clearly between Indonesian and Chinese, assign daily tasks to workshop staff, coordinate work, track progress, and ensure all work targets are achieved on time. You will serve as the key link between management and on-site teams to keep operations smooth and efficient.

Provide accurate translation Indonesian to Chinese and Chinese to Indonesian — covering work orders, safety rules, equipment instructions, technical documents, and all internal communications.

Interpret clearly during briefings, meetings, and on-site guidance so all workshop staff fully understand instructions without misunderstanding.

Plan and assign daily/weekly work tasks to workshop assistants and workers based on skill, priority, and schedule.

Arrange manpower and work properly to ensure balanced workload and high efficiency.

Make sure every worker understands their tasks, standards, and deadlines.

Monitor daily work progress, task completion status, and project milestones.

Check that work meets quality standards and is finished on schedule.

Spot delays or problems early, take action to fix them, and report status to management regularly.

Ensure all assigned work targets are achieved as required.

Guide and coordinate workshop staff; maintain discipline, attendance, and workplace safety.

Keep daily work records, task logs, and progress reports.

Resolve routine on-site issues and help maintain smooth daily operations.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in Indonesian and Chinese (both written & spoken) — able to translate accurately and clearly in both directions.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years experience in workshop coordination, team supervision, or task management — must know how to arrange work and manage staff to meet goals.

Abilities: Strong at planning work, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and communicating clearly. Practical workshop process knowledge is a plus.

Attitude: Responsible, organized, proactive, firm but fair with staff. Comfortable working on-site daily.

Education: Diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience is valued highly.
