Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

As reliable infrastructure requires exceptional talent, we are looking for a DC Facility Technician to strengthen our team in Batam. If you’re excited about working in a fast-paced industry that connects technology, business strategy, and cross-border collaboration — we’d love to have you on board.
ResponsibilityAs DC Facility Technician, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth. You will:
- Perform daily monitoring of all data center facilities through the Building Management System, and on-site inspections.
- Ensure the availability and reliability of electrical systems, cooling, UPS, batteries, generators, and other supporting systems.
- Record and report operational parameters according to established procedures.
- Handle alarms and take first-level troubleshooting actions for facility disruptions.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on: UPS and Battery Systems, Generator Sets (Gensets), Chillers, and Electrical Panels.
- Assist in corrective and emergency maintenance.
- Ensure all maintenance work is properly documented.
- Respond promptly to facility disruptions and incidents according to SLAs.
- Escalate to relevant engineers, supervisors, or vendors when necessary.
- Prepare incident reports and take corrective action.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and testing of new facilities.
- Comply with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards.
- Ensure all activities comply with SOPs, MOPs (Methods of Procedure), and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures).
- Minimum D3/S1 degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a Data Center or Building Facility.
- Understanding of the basics of electrical systems.
- Willing to work shifts.
- Able to work in emergency situations and possess strong troubleshooting skills.
