Shipyard Facility Manager (Shipyard / Marine)
Lead and supervise the shipyard maintenance team in executing Planned Maintenance (PM) schedules for heavy equipment, machinery, prime movers, and cranes (overhead, crawler, gantry).
Maintain operational integrity and safety standards across all yard infrastructure, including workshops, office buildings, graving docks, slipways, and finger piers.
Support ongoing yard operations by ensuring continuous utility availability (dock lighting, dock gates, welding power distribution).
Oversee facility upgrade and development projects, ensuring execution within targeted schedules and budgets while managing related subcontractors.
Manage hazardous waste disposal (e.g., B3 waste) in strict accordance with local environmental laws and regulations; serve on the shipyard environment upgrade team.
Act as custodian for all facility and equipment maintenance records in compliance with ISO standards.
Prepare annual tool and equipment budgets, track asset acquisitions/disposals, and verify vendor rental equipment used in yard operations.
Serve as the designated lead for logging, rectifying, and reporting facility defects, providing monthly maintenance and infrastructure reports to Management.
Requirements- Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a shipyard facility or plant facility manager.
- Practical knowledge of ISO standards, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing and able to work full-time on-site in Batam, Indonesia.
