Senior Cnc Programmer

Qualifications

• Male/Female holding a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a CNC Programmer (preferably operating CNC machines with Y‑Axis capability (Mill‑Turn)).
• Able to operate the following CNC machines:
  Makino V33 (High Speed) & Mazak FJV
  35/80 (Double Column).
• Strong proficiency in CNC programming (G‑Code & M‑Code) for milling and turning operations.
• Experienced in using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam / Solid
  
  CAM / NX / Esprit).
• Excellent ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances.
• Solid knowledge of machine setup, tooling selection, cutting parameters, and process optimization.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with high awareness of quality and safety standards.
• Able to work independently or in a team, meet production targets, and mentor junior staff.
• Demonstrates a good attitude, proactive mindset, and results‑driven work ethic.

• Develop zero‑error CNC programs using CAM software for Turning, Mill‑Turn (Y‑Axis), and High‑Speed Milling processes.
• Define optimal cutting tools, feeds & speeds, and machining strategies to minimize cycle time for hard and standard materials.
• Prepare detailed setup sheets for operators and resolve technical or dimensional issues at the machine.
• Ensure machining output meets GD&T requirements and high‑precision standards (Makino/Mazak level).
• Optimize machining processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot CNC program and machining issues to reduce defects and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and 5S practices.>
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Facility (Maintenance) teams to support smooth operations and machine repairs when required.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to CNC programmers and operators.
