Job OverviewAn Assembler
- Mechanical supports the assembly, disassembly, and testing of subsea and production system equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, VGS, API, and MOS standards. The position involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, operating and maintaining lifting equipment, and ensuring all tasks are executed safely and efficiently. The role also emphasizes adherence to safe work practices, maintaining high housekeeping standards, and ensuring full compliance.
- Maintain and update assembly maps and ensure proper traceability in the MOS system before and after assembly, including final sign‑off upon completion.
- Inspect, maintain, and ensure readiness of all tools and equipment required for operations.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization by adhering to housekeeping standards and conducting 5S activities as per schedule.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively operate in shift‑based roles.
- Follow instructions from production associates and coordinate closely with engineers to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
- Actively participate in EHS/HSE programs and contribute to strengthening the safety culture at the site.
- Support implementation of EHS/HSE Framework 2.0 and ensure adherence to established safety procedures, including 705 procedures at the site.
- Exercise the authority to stop work in case of any quality or health, safety, and environmental (HSE) concerns.
- Ensure delivery of quality products that meet all requirements while adhering to production timelines and deadlines.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a fitter in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Hands‑on experience in assembling critical subsea and surface components using various torque tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, VGS, API, and other technical specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team.
- Proactive approach with willingness to learn, improve, and take initiative.
- Ability to work diligently in a shift‑based environment with a hardworking attitude.
- Experience in assembly, testing, and pressure testing activities within a production environment.
- Knowledge of slinging, lifting operations, manual handling, and forklift operations with focus on safety.
- Standard working hours under a rotational shift model – employees will work in planned day and night shifts as per warehouse operations.
