Manufacturing Engineer
- Subsea Production Process and Equipment Manufacturing

Manufacturing Engineer
- Subsea Production Process and Equipment Manufacturing (Baker Hughes internal title: Manufacturing Professional
- Prod Process and Equip) is responsible for defined work or projects of moderate complexity, providing technical support for manufacturing processes in Subsea X‑Mass Tree assembly and testing while ensuring integrity, safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage T&A equipment
  • Create manufacturing order routing and ensure required procedures to support production process
  • Prepare rework routing under NCR to provide work instructions and appropriate procedure
  • Establish standard cycle times on manufacturing process and monitor actual achievement
  • Prepare best tooling to optimize production performance on both quality and quantity
  • Coordinate problem solving on tooling and fixture test equipment application
  • Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing variances
  • Perform statistical approach on manufacturing performance reporting
  • Monitor receiving, asset tracking, storage, and preservation of test equipment
  • Implement pressure testing equipment 705 procedure at Batam Site, including test equipment tracking, inspection, maintenance, quarantine of inactive/compliant equipment, and storage preservation
Qualifications
  • Knowledge in mechanical engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering
  • Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing (preferred)
  • Prior experience with Oil & Gas Manufacturing such as Surface Valves, X‑Mass Tree, Subsea X‑Mass Tree (preferred)
  • Understanding of Test & Assembly processes (FAT, eFAT, SIT, SRT, etc.) (preferred)
  • Understanding of pressure test equipment
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and MS Office skills
  • Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communication skills
