Ensuring continuous availability of tools (Stamping and Punching tools).

Ensuring adequate quality of tools for production.

• Preventive maintenance of tools
• Detection of tool faults, repair and maintenance of tools
• Making tool modifications
• Sharpening tools
• Joining parts
• Use of metalworking machines (drills, milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, band saws, spark cutters)
• Documentation management

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in press tool manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Progressive Press Tools
  , including:
  • Tool tryout and adjustment
  • Trouble shooting and corrective action
  • Tool maintenance and repair
• Ability to read and interpret:
  • Engineering Drawings
  • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Tolerance Specifications
• Good knowledge of tool room machines, especially:
  • Surface Grinding Machines
  • Milling Machines
  • Drilling Machines
  • Manual Tool Room Equipment
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments:
  • Micrometers
• Experience in shop floor activities:
  • Production Support
  • Breakdown Handling
  • Process Improvement Activities
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Quality Inspection Methods
  • Measurement Practices
  • Press Machine Operations
• Ability to identify and resolve tooling‑related quality issues such as:
  • Burrs
  • Out‑of‑Specification Dimensions
  • Material Feeding Problems
  • Tool Alignment Issues
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Able to support production teams in achieving quality, productivity, and delivery targets
  .
• Familiarity with automotive stamping components will be an added advantage.
