CNC Machinist
Plan, organize, and control daily operations of CNC Turning and CNC Milling machines. Lead, coach, and develop Machinists and supporting staff. Ensure operators follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements. Monitor machine performance, efficiency, and utilization.
Key responsibilitiesPlan, organize, and control daily operations of CNC Turning and CNC Milling machines
Allocate work, set priorities, and ensure production targets are achieved on time
Lead, coach, and develop Machinists and supporting staff
Ensure operators follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements
Monitor machine performance, efficiency, and utilization
Ensure proper machine setup, tooling, programs, and machining processes
Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical guidance
Ensure quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish are met
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with the Maintenance Team
Analyze production data, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions
About youMinimum Diploma (D3) / bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in machining, with at least 2 years of experience as a supervisor or Team Leader
Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with CNC Turning and CNC Milling machines
Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, work holding, cutting parameters, and machining methods
Able to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Able to manage teams, production schedules, and production targets
Good knowledge of quality tools and measurement instruments
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong commitment to Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement
Candidates currently domiciled in Batam will be given priority
