Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join PT Surya Tanjung Jaya's Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Batam, Kota Riau Islands
. As Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing compelling visual content that communicates our brand identity and marketing messages effectively to our target audiences. This position is integral to supporting our marketing communications strategy and enhancing our brand presence across various platforms and media channels.

• Design and create visually appealing graphics for digital and print marketing materials, including promotional brochures, advertisements, social media content and website assets
• Develop and maintain consistent brand visual identity across all company communications and marketing channels
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to understand campaign objectives and translate them into compelling visual designs
• Produce high-quality illustrations, infographics and other visual content to support marketing campaigns and internal communications
• Edit and optimise images and videos for various digital platforms and applications
• Stay updated with design trends, software tools and industry best practices to ensure our visual content remains contemporary and engaging
• Manage design projects from concept through to final delivery, meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions to designs as required
• Support the preparation of presentation materials for internal and external audiences

Batam candidates only

• Proven experience working as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities across digital and print media
• Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Correl Draw) or equivalent design tools
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, colour theory and composition
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce polished, professional-quality work
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative design solutions
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and incorporate feedback
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of web design principles and familiarity with responsive design concepts is advantageous
• Understanding of social media design requirements and specifications is preferred
