Responsibilities

Meet targets in SVPC (9 Sales Visits and 6 Phone Calls per week) and qualitative targets monitored in Analytics dashboard.

Grow business and market presence in the Batam area by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. (Hunting Mode)

Identify and develop opportunities from key industries, industrial zones, and exporters/importers in Batam including participants in Accelerator and Incubator Programs.

Analyze local market trends, competitor movements, and trade lane opportunities to propose effective sales strategies.

Promote CMA CGM Group services and non-maritime products including e-commerce solutions, value-added services (VAS), intermodal logistics, and CEVA Logistics offerings.

Update commercial data and customer feedback in NOVA (e.g., Opportunities, Leads, Contacts).

Handle daily communication with customers and principals through email, phone calls, and other channels.

Prepare and submit visit reports and cargo leads to the immediate supervisor.

Ensure timely and accurate rate quotations and closures in the system.

Build and maintain a professional image and cultivate strong business relationships with clients.

Monitor client activities and provide regular status updates and reports.

Participate in sales team meetings focused on sales targets, forecasts, and performance reviews.

Retain and develop existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new clients (hunting accounts).

Identifying and engaging with key decision-makers within targeted leads to initiating the sales process.

Collaborate with the Sales Manager and direct supervisor to develop and execute strategic sales approaches.

Work closely with internal CMA CGM departments to ensure compliance with regulations, administrative processes, and system updates.

Represent CMA CGM at industry conferences and events to build market intelligence and expand the professional network.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct superior, as required by the business.
