Schedule: Contract, on-site
A welcoming outpatient imaging center is seeking a Contract Mammography Technologist to join its professional team. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in a fun, patient-focused outpatient setting and takes pride in delivering excellent care and high-quality breast imaging.
What you'll do- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
- Provide accurate patient positioning and high-quality images
- Follow established radiation-safety and quality-control procedures
- Maintain documentation according to facility, ACR, MQSA, and ARRT standards
- Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and the outpatient imaging team
- ARRT (M) certification required
- Current ARRT registration
- Illinois license/authorization as required
- Current BLS/CPR
- Must meet all applicable MQSA, ACR, and ARRT mammography requirements
- Mammography positioning and image-quality experience
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Screening and diagnostic mammography experience preferred
