Perfection Servo, a Sun Source company, specializes in worldwide service, repair, and remanufacturing of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components for various industries.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Hydraulic Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, setting up, testing, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems and components to ensure they meet performance and safety specifications. This is a hands‑on role requiring a strong understanding of fluid power systems, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and conduct functional, pressure, and flow tests on hydraulic components and systems (valves, pumps, motors, cylinders, actuators, hoses, etc.).
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
  • Operate and maintain hydraulic test stands, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
  • Record test data and generate detailed test reports for engineering and quality teams.
  • Formulate hydraulic efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing and suggest corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in developing test procedures and improving test setups for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical/vocational training or associates degree in related field is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in hydraulic system testing or related mechanical testing environment.
  • Mechanical inclination and aptitude are required.
  • Experience with hydraulic test stands and data logging systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO, AS, or MIL test standards is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic theory, components, and test practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient with hand tools, gauges, and test instruments.
  • Good attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
