Accelerator Operator — Beamline Technician in Training

Fermilab seeks an Accelerator Operator I to learn and operate the Lab's accelerators and beam transport systems in the Main Control Room. You will monitor beams, alarms, and interlocks, while maintaining logs and supporting safety procedures.

The role provides extensive OJT, hands-on training with engineers and technicians, and opportunities to contribute to upcoming PIP‑II and LBNF/DUNE operations as Fermilab builds its future accelerator program. Employment requires onsite work in Batavia, IL.
