Industrial Electrician

Join Amcor as a certified Industrial Electrician and play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems critical to our manufacturing operations.

As an Industrial Electrician, you will handle power, control, and lighting systems, inspect electrical components, use testing devices to identify problems, and repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools.

12‑hour straight night shift. Ability to train on day shift if required.

• Pay: $40.10/hr + $2 shift premium

• Enforce company safety policies and procedures
• Perform daily maintenance (mechanical, electrical, preventive) for the plant
• Handle emergency breakdown situations
• Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing supervisors to prioritize routine maintenance assignments
• Provide daily electrical maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment
• Give technical advice to machine operators and supervisors regarding equipment modifications and repair estimates
• Document changes to electrical drawings
• Assist with layout, installation, movement, or dismantling of plant equipment
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and tools
• Apply knowledge of National Electrical Code for proper installation and protection of equipment
• Use PLCs, motor controls, wiring schematics, and electrical symbols; knowledge of AIMS/SAP is a plus
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• 1+ year prior electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong computer skills
• Effective teamwork, leadership, and safety focus
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lb frequently
• Must wear personal protective equipment at all times
• Ability to adapt to change, quantify results, and interface with all levels of management

• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds frequently
• Frequent standing, sitting, squatting, bending, walking, and climbing throughout the day
