Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor‑trailer or box truck to deliver finished product to customers in accordance with state and federal laws.

• Complies with Driver responsibilities as outlined in company DAART program and as required by DOT.
• Maintain vehicle in accordance with Elkhart Transportation management policy.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner complying with company policy and procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.
• Support on time delivery by transporting loads by established route to proper destination as efficiently as possible while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Inspect trailer loads to ensure proper loading processes and confirm it is the correct load before leaving facility.
• Verify product count while truck is being loaded.
• Comply with obtaining correct acknowledgement or signature and date for bill of lading and necessary signatures and date; return properly completed documentation to Transportation Manager.
• Comply with performance measures.
• Duties may vary depending on location.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL‑A License.

• Prior experience driving in large vehicles, such as box truck or similar.
• Demonstrated experience practicing safe driving practices.
• Previous experience delivering and handling freight preferred.
