Position: Flex Truck Driver - Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers Compensation

  • Average total compensation of $110,000 to $115,000 annually
  • Includes $80 per diem when laying over
  • $3,000 annual safety bonus
  • Travel required, up to 100 percent
What you will do
  • This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed
  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of groceries to customers
Schedule
  • Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment
  • Drivers can expect to be away from home 1 week per assignment
  • Flexibility required

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑tanker experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • English language proficiency required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Commit to required schedule, location, and completion of Penske employment application; background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening required
  • Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
  • Must accept responsibility for own safety and safety of others
Physical Requirements
  • Must meet the physical and mental demands described; reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities
  • Must be able to see and hear: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
  • Requires frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting; use of hands to touch, handle, feel, reach; lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs
  • Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
