Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: On-site - Batavia, IL

Work Hours:M-F 7 am - 3:30 pm, plus overtime as needed

About the Role: the Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse operations with a strong emphasis on customer service, order accuracy, and inventory management. This role is hands-on and highly tactical, requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The Coordinator will work closely with logistics, carriers, manufacturing plants and warehouse leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient receipt of goods and inventory levels across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in order picking, inventory management, parcel processing, and workstation flow, with prior experience in a Lead-level role. This position influences team performance without direct supervisory authority and requires consistent interaction with site leadership and periodic communication with corporate teams.

Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures

• Oversee the distribution operations of a warehouse, helping ensure that goods arrive at their destination on time and undamaged
• Implementing distribution policies, conducting routine inspections, delegating tasks to staff, and oversee shipment tracking
• Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
• Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
• Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
• Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
• Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
• Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers and respond to customer queries.
• Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule.
• Comply with all company and safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma required
• Experience in distribution operations, with at least 1 year in a Lead or equivalent role
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning warehouse systems quickly (AS400)
• Experience with customer-facing communication, shipping processes, and inventory management
