Arisa Health in Batesville is seeking candidates to fill a Billing Specialist position.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of medical billing office experience is preferred. Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance is required. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with Microsoft applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel and 10-key; and general knowledge of internet navigation and research, email, fax transmission, and copy equipment.
The position will be responsible for prior authorizations, verifying insurance, following up with denied claims, and working with insurance companies to ensure payments are received. Candidates must have experience working with insurance websites. The ideal candidate should be able to work unsupervised.
Work Hours:
Full time, Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
