general description of positionprovides instructional training to clients. Assists clients in acquiring necessary household and communication skills for independent living. Collects performance data and monitors household training programs. Supervises and assists clients in completing day‑to‑day routine household chores and meal management in accordance with long term care regulations.
positions 1 & 2: monday‑friday, 3:00 pm‑11:00 pm & every other weekend.
24‑hour facility – a set schedule is not guaranteed.
essential duties and responsibilities- manages and supervises resident's active treatment program in accordance with their individual program plans, and demonstrates the skills and techniques necessary to implement individual program plans.
- is responsible for program data collection, documentation and training instruction.
- is responsible for the completion of necessary icf/iid forms and reports.
- provides care and instruction for all clients in all areas of activities of daily living.
- assists in household cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
- may be assigned cook duties and meal preparation and assists in dietetic services; including serving and conducting the meals by demonstrating socially appropriate behaviors at mealtime.
- if assigned cook duties, coordinates with house manager the food purchases and develops menus based on client's choices with the input from the consultant dietitian.
- manages client behaviors in a professional manner and demonstrates necessary skills and techniques to intervene effectively.
- is responsible for the supervision of all documentation such as menu changes and temperatures.
- attends meetings and training sessions as directed.
- transports clients to and from community.
- perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
high school diploma or ged. Other job‑related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications reviewed by human resources.
must be able to pass applicable background checks and drug screen. Any offer of employment will be based on the results of background checks and drug screen.
salary: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour.
