** Monday–Friday, occasional Saturday's | Start Time: 7:00 AM | 10+ Hour Days

* Job Summary:

** Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Batesville Transfer Station in the Batesville, Arkansas area. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a front-end loader. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station.

* What You’ll Do:

*** Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer station
* Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
* Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly
* Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation
* Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
* Support team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving
** What You Need to Bring:
*** 2+ years experience operating excavators
* A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
* Annual boot allowance
