Millwright - Per Diem

Position: Millwright - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is seeking Boilermakers or Millwrights for a 10 day outage in Batesville, MS who will perform mechanical maintenance work focused on changing small valves, flange replacements, and bolt-up work on piping systems and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove and replace small valves in piping systems

• Perform flange removal, installation, and bolt-up with proper torque/tensioning

• Inspect gaskets, studs, and flange faces for damage or wear

• Use appropriate tools and equipment for mechanical work, including torque wrenches, impact guns, and hand tools

• Follow isolation, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), and confined space procedures where required

• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with site and OSHA regulations

• Communicate with supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the outage

Pay rate is $32/hour plus $150 travel pay (in and out) on completion of project. Per Diem: $120 / day for all 7 days.

Schedule:

Mon - Sun, 70h / week.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment screenings

• Journeyperson Boilermaker or Millwright certification preferred (or equivalent field experience)

• Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in outage/turnaround work

• Proficient in bolt-up practices and valve/flange installation

• Familiarity with torque specs, flange alignment, and mechanical drawings

• Must have basic tools and PPE (site-specific gear provided)

• Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hot Work)

• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying conditions

• Experience in refineries, chemical plants, power plants, or pulp & paper facilities
