TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a well‑established and progressive law firm in Bath that is looking to appoint a Part-Time Post Completions Clerk to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised administrator who enjoys working with accuracy and attention to detail. Previous post‑completion or conveyancing experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right individual.

The Role

Working as part of a friendly and supportive Residential Conveyancing team, you will be responsible for coordinating post‑completion matters, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and accurately while providing excellent support to clients, lenders and colleagues.

The firm is offering genuine flexibility, with 20–25 hours per week, which can be worked over three full days or split across four or five shorter days, making this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a better work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing post‑completion correspondence and documentation.
  • Checking completion statements and ensuring financial calculations are accurate across client and office accounts.
  • Submitting applications to HMRC and HM Land Registry.
  • Managing Land Registry requisitions and responding promptly to outstanding matters.
  • Handling enquiries from mortgage lenders relating to redemptions and registrations.
  • Liaising with fee earners regarding outstanding post‑completion matters.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing team as required.
About You

You will have:

  • Previous administration experience within a professional office environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, flexible and team‑focused approach.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous post‑completion or residential conveyancing experience.
  • Knowledge of HM Land Registry processes.
  • Familiarity with LEXCEL accreditation standards.
