DescriptionPermanent, 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
Term time only 36 weeks per year (plus INSET & Open Mornings)
40 hours per week
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Secretary to provide administrative support to the Pre-Prep & Junior School. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality administrative support, act as a first point of contact for parents and visitors, and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide efficient day-to-day administrative support to the Pre-Prep and Junior School office.
- Act as a first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff, visitors and external enquiries.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and support school registration processes.
- Manage communications
, including emails, telephone calls and face-to-face enquiries. - Assist with the organisation of school events, open mornings and other key activities.
- Help ensure safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed at all times.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
, including Outlook, Word and Excel. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to build positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
- Discreet and trustworthy
, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. - Able to work independently
