Overview

A loyal client to Sphere are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor with immediate effect. This is a role with an established regional Main Contractor, operating within Commercial New Build, Refurbishment / Fit Out / Cut & Carve, Cladding / Facade, and Residential. Project values are typically up to £30M. This requirement is due to continued regional growth and the award of several new projects for 2026.

Responsibilities

Lead the commercial elements of projects as the No.1 on build value, with support from an existing Commercial team.
Report into a Managing Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Director.
Manage the commercial function within the project team and ensure robust commercial governance.

Qualifications & Experience

Good Main Contractor background.
Proven history of operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
Experience in the sectors mentioned (Commercial New Build, Refurbishment / Fit Out / Cut & Carve, Cladding / Facade, and Residential) would be of benefit.
