Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Building Safety Manager to support clients across a range of residential and higher-risk buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable building safety professional to play a key role in helping clients meet their obligations under current building safety legislation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, management, and delivery of building safety strategies, Building Safety Case information, resident engagement processes, compliance reporting, and risk management activity.
Key Responsibilities Managing and supporting building safety requirements across residential and higher-risk buildings. Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining Building Safety Case information and related documentation. Supporting clients with compliance under the Building Safety Act and associated regulations. Coordinating information between clients, residents, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Supporting resident engagement strategies and communication around building safety matters. Identifying, monitoring, and managing building safety risks.
Reviewing fire safety, structural safety, faade, and compliance-related information. Supporting Mandatory Occurrence Reporting processes where required. Providing clear, professional advice to clients on building safety responsibilities and best practice. Requirements Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification. NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Diploma or equivalent. Membership of relevant professional bodies, such as IFE or RICS. CIOB Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management, or willingness to work towards it, would be highly desirable.
