Senior Contract Manager & QS – Heritage & Refurb

About You:

This opportunity is suited to a highly experienced construction professional who enjoys managing quality projects and building long‑term client relationships.

• A minimum of 10 years' experience working at Contract Manager or Quantity Surveyor level.
• Must live within approximately 40 minutes of BA1 7QH
  .
• Strong experience delivering refurbishment, restoration, heritage, commercial or high‑end construction projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and contract management skills.
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

This role is not ideally suited to candidates whose experience has been exclusively with large Tier 1 contractors. We are particularly interested in professionals from small to medium‑sized contractors who are accustomed to taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients, and managing multiple aspects of project delivery.

• Managing multiple construction projects from pre‑start through to completion.
• Leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing programmes, budgets and contractual obligations.

• Managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account.
• Preparing valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts.
• Procuring and managing subcontractor packages.
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
• Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
