The Gastroenterology Department at the RUH is expanding our teams and is looking for an Endoscopy fellow to start before January 2025.
The successful candidate will have a bespoke flexible timetable to meet training needs and a great opportunity to train in gastroscopy, colonoscopy or ERCP. The role provides flexibility to tailor endoscopy training and clinic to prior experience and subspecialty training needs.

- Hepatology clinics
- Viral hepatitis clinics
- Nutrition ward rounds
- Joint obstetric/IBD clinics
- Pelvic floor clinics
- ERCP lists
- Large polyp lists
- Regular endoscopy training courses
The role can include outpatient clinics, endoscopy, gastroenterology ward cover and on‑call duties. The clinical fellow will join 6‑8 middle grades covering gastroenterology and/or hepatology, and will be encouraged to participate in audit and research projects. PACES is essential for joining the middle grade tier.
