Join the Cardiology team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust as a GP with Specialist Interests in Cardiology, supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred outpatient care across a dynamic and forward-thinking service.
This role focuses on the assessment and management of patients with a broad range of cardiology conditions, helping to improve access and reduce waiting times. Working alongside consultants, cardiac physiologists and the wider multidisciplinary team, the post holder will play a key role in delivering efficient pathways, optimising clinic capacity and enhancing patient experience, whilst contributing to service development and innovation across the speciality.

The holder of this post will be a General Practitioner with a
Specialty Interest.
To provide, to a high standard, a full range of specialist treatment and care seen within the Outpatient Department who need Cardiology services.
To continue to provide and develop a sub-specialty interest that complements the needs of the department and supports the interests of the existing consultants.

Person specification Profession al Values and Behaviours Skills and Knowledge- full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council or General Dental Council
- Shall have equivalent experience in Cardiology Outpatients and competencies.
- Demonstrates the underpinning subject-specific competencies i.e. knowledge, skills and behaviours relevant to the role setting and scope
