Food and Beverage Assistant (Term‑Time, 25 hours per week)
The east hospitality team have a part time vacancy available for the role of Food & Beverage Assistant, working during term time. As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will be required to ensure that the day to day running of the catering operation is smooth and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times.
Responsibilities- Take customer orders and serve food and drink
- Work the tills
- Stock food stations
- Assist with cleaning and clearing tables and catering areas
This role will predominantly be working Monday to Friday either 9.30 am to 2.30 pm or 3.30 pm to 8.30 pm, but could include early morning, evening and weekend shifts (5 hours a day, 25 hours per week).
Time Off & Training- 7 full weeks off over Christmas and New Year, to include the vacation time, public holidays and university holidays, revision days and assessment days, and the inter‑semester break, in accordance with the published academic year chart.
- 2 weeks off over Easter, to include the vacation time, public holidays and university holidays, in accordance with the published academic year chart.
- The first 1 full week off in June.
- 2 full weeks off between mid‑August and mid‑September, to be agreed with your line manager.
