Role:  Trainer Assessor.

Location:

Field-based with regular visits to an allocated cluster of nurseries and our Head Office and Training Academy (in Newport Pagnell).

Contract:

Permanent | 37.5 hours/week | 52 weeks/year.
Working pattern:  Monday-Friday.
Salary:  Up to £33,000 per annum (pro-rata) | Company car.

About you
You are a qualified early years educator and assessor:  You hold a DfE approved early years qualification at level 5 or above as well as a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA).
You are skilled in    supporting    learners to succeed:  Your experience as an assessor enables you to  support  learners to fulfil their course requirements and through your observations of their practice within their nursery and the written work they submit to you via their e-portfolio, you identify gaps in their knowledge, skills and behaviours and you provide appropriate opportunities to  support  their growth in these areas, which results in them completing their programmes on time.
You are knowledgeable:  You are comfortable delivering face-to-face group training sessions and you will deliver these from our Training Academy (and sometimes from our training space in Winchester and/or from our nurseries too), cascading your knowledge of the apprenticeship standards, how they apply and how they can be successfully met, to the learners.
You are an advocate for safeguarding:  You always ensure the well-being of the children in our nurseries, your learners and your colleagues is at the forefront of your practice.
You are    collaborative   :
You enjoy working in partnership with others, are skilled in tailoring your communication and teaching style, will attend regular standardisation meetings, work with Functional Skills Tutors as required, contribute towards the review and evaluation of the courses offered by our academy and  support  to invigilate exams where necessary.
