Teacher Active is working closely with secondary schools in Bath that require reliable Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply cover. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in TEFL, CELTA, or English language teaching who are confident leading classrooms and supporting students with literacy and language development.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work, maintain positive behaviour, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising whole classes during teacher absence

Delivering and explaining pre-set lesson content

Supporting students with English language and literacy needs

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment

This role is well suited to candidates who:

Hold a TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent English language qualification

Have experience working with young people or in educational settings

Are confident leading groups and managing behaviour

Have strong communication and organisational skills

Are flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments
