Overview
Join the Careers Department at the University of Bath as a Careers Consultant and partner with students, academics and professional services staff to deliver a forward‑looking employability experience.
Responsibilities- Provide a full range of career advice and guidance to all student cohorts through 1:1 sessions, group workshops and technology‑enabled delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the School of Management, leading the provision for international students and global employability while adapting to changing caseloads.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance employability outcomes.
- Innovate practice by embracing emerging technologies and designing new support methods that empower students.
- Work in a high‑energy, changing environment, delivering outcomes with a positive, can‑do mindset.
- Experienced careers professional with a background in higher education.
- Strong relationship management, networking and communication skills.
- A proven track record of building strategic relationships across diverse groups.
- Commitment to excellence and an inclusive approach to student support.
- Willingness to work with new and emerging technology and drive innovation in practice.
- Positive attitude, resilience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
