Academics are currently recruiting a driven and nurturing Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative team and make a positive impact during a crucial stage of pupils' academics development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils' progress, and maintaining an encouraging and structured classroom environment.

The role - Year 6 Primary Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
• Support pupils in preparation for end-of-Key Stage assessments (SATs where applicable)
• Create a caring, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 6 experience desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
