Academics are currently recruiting a driven and nurturing Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bath. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils’ progress, and maintaining an encouraging and structured classroom environment.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
• Support pupils in preparation for end‑of‑Key Stage assessments (SATs where applicable)
• Create a caring, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 6 experience desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
