Regional Grade 1 post on the GDST scale. Full Time Equivalent starting salary £25,392, actual salary £20,587.

Role Overview

We are seeking to appoint three resident Boarding Assistants on a fixed‑term contract. You will live in shared accommodation with two other graduates within our listed building, overlooking Bath’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with day‑to‑day running of the boarding houses.
  • Help to organise, run and staff the Weekend Programme.
  • Carry out administrative tasks involved in boarding.
  • Support students in class by encouraging learning and skill acquisition.

This is a residential post that may involve morning, evening and weekend duties. You will receive 24 hours off duty per week, plus additional time off when not on duty.

  • Team player with a proven track record of being proactive and highly organised.
  • Ability to act on one's own initiative.
  • Fair but firm approach to behaviour.
  • Enjoy working with young people, and possess energy, enthusiasm and commitment appropriate to a boarding school environment.
