Full-Time | Permanent Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Tag: INDED We are working with a well-established secondary school in Haringey seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Mathematics to lead their Maths department. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong practitioner with leadership experience to drive standards, support staff development, and ensure excellent outcomes for students across KS3–KS5.

Role Overview :
Lead and manage the Mathematics department across KS3–KS5 Develop and implement a clear departmental vision for high-quality teaching and learning Support and mentor teaching staff, promoting professional development Monitor student progress and attainment, implementing strategies to raise achievement Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental resources Contribute to the wider leadership and strategic direction of the school

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level Previous middle leadership or departmental leadership experience Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment strategies Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Benefits:
