Bath, BA1. Pay: £14.25 per hour (£92.63 per day). Full‑time, Monday to Friday, term‑time only. Immediate and September starts available.
About the roleWe are looking for a full‑time SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning, behavioural, communication or emotional needs in a welcoming school in Bath. The role requires working closely with teachers and SENCOs to help pupils access learning, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
- Help pupils remain engaged, focused and supported throughout the school day.
- Adapt activities and learning approaches to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals where required.
- Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
Build strong relationships with pupils, be a trusted presence in the classroom and help students make meaningful progress academically and personally, improving confidence, independence and engagement in learning.

This is a temporary position unless stated otherwise.
Applicants will be required to provide an up‑to‑date DBS, or allow the agency to process one on their behalf, in line with DfE guidelines.
For work with children or vulnerable adults, the position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
