Flexible Part-Time Teaching Assistant Opportunities – Bath

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs?
We are seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Bath in both specialist schools and mainstream settings. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, rewarding work while making a real impact in education.
You will support pupils aged 5–18 with a range of additional needs, including learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them to achieve their full potential within safe, structured and nurturing learning environments. You’ll work alongside experienced teachers and dedicated support staff who are committed to providing engaging and inclusive education.
Opportunities are available immediately, throughout the remainder of the summer term and into September.
The role:
• Support pupils with additional needs to access learning and develop essential life skills
• Provide 1:1 and small group support under the guidance of the class teacher
• Encourage independence and promote positive behaviour
• Support the social, emotional and educational development of pupils
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
What we offer:
• £14.25 per hour, paid weekly

About you:
• Passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs
• Patient, compassionate and adaptable
• Confident working as part of a team
• Keen to learn and undertake relevant training
Previous experience in education, care, support work or youth work is desirable but not essential.
