Bath College is seeking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Staff to join our inclusive and learner‑focused support team.

This role is part‑time, based at the City Centre Campus in Bath, with term‑time hours (Mon‑Thu 8:30‑17:00, Fri 8:30‑16:30) and an hour unpaid lunch. The role offers a nationally recognised Level 5 apprenticeship and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective support to learners with additional needs in lessons and across the wider college environment
  • Promote learner independence, confidence, engagement and achievement
  • Enable learners to develop strategies and skills that support participation and long‑term success
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to implement appropriate support approaches
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and aspirational learning environment
  • Support learner wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
  • Maintain appropriate records and contribute to reviews of learner progress and support arrangements

Previous experience of supporting young people, adults or learners with additional needs would be advantageous, although applicants with the right values, potential and commitment will also be welcomed.
