Mental Health Support Worker

Bath, BA2 | On-site, £14.25 per hour, Full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term-time only,

• Focus on mental health and student wellbeing
• Work as part of a dedicated pastoral team
• Opportunity to progress into counselling, psychology, or education

You’ll work with students who may be experiencing anxiety, low confidence, or challenges outside the classroom, helping them stay engaged and supported throughout the school day.

• Provide one-to-one pastoral and emotional support
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students
• Support students in managing emotions and behaviour
• Work alongside teachers and safeguarding teams
• Help create a safe, positive school environment

You’ll become a trusted adult for students who need support, helping them feel more confident, stable, and able to succeed in school.

• Psychology graduates or those interested in mental health careers
• Youth workers or support workers
• Individuals with strong empathy and communication skills

• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong interpersonal skills
