The successful candidate will provide day‑to‑day instructional leadership across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The timetable will involve deconstructing fundamental mechanics, energy transformations and electromagnetism at Key Stage 3 and GCSE, alongside delivering advanced quantum mechanics, astrophysics and circuit thermodynamics modules to ambitious A‑Level cohorts. The teacher will work closely with a highly skilled technician team to safely manage equipment arrays, track student progress data using the school’s central MIS, and coordinate extracurricular programmes such as engineering clubs and national physics olympiads.

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a degree in Physics, Engineering or a highly related numerical discipline
• Proven experience planning and delivering Physics up to GCSE and A‑Level specifications
• Clear understanding of school laboratory safety protocols and compliance (CLEAPSS & COSHH)
• Excellent IT literacy, with the confidence to utilises central tracking systems to monitor student progress data
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to curriculum planning
