Position: Drama Students - Use Your Skills in the Classroom!

Are you an actor, performer, musician, dancer, creative graduate or someone who thrives on building connections with people?

Protocol Education is working with welcoming primary schools across Bath, Keynsham, Radstock and Midsomer Norton looking for enthusiastic, engaging and compassionate individuals to take on rewarding 1:1 Teaching Assistant and Learning Support roles from September.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
  • Helping children engage with learning and classroom activities
  • Encouraging confidence, communication and social development
  • Supporting children who may need additional emotional or academic support
  • Working closely with teachers and school staff
  • Becoming a positive role model and trusted adult for pupils
  • Using creativity and initiative to help children overcome barriers to learning

What We Need to Clear You
  • Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
  • Two proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill or council tax statement)
  • CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education, with any gaps explained
  • References covering the last 2 years (including childcare, youth work or mentoring where applicable)
  • Overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
